About Audrey Burns

Audrey Burns has always loved art, and yet she also enjoys the technical side of things. Her mother is a poet and writer, and her father is a cartographer. She feels she received both her mother's creativity and her father's attention to detail. She designs clean, functional, creative websites, and can translate the designs into HTML, CSS and PHP. She also designs print media, logos, and other branding material. Most importantly, she is excellent at keeping the look and feel consistent throughout different forms of media.

In December of 2006, Audrey graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas with a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Graphic Design. Not only does UMHB's computer graphics program involve creative design, it also requires the students to learn more about information technology, and how it is applied to a business. Every customer will have a need for both of these skills, and that makes Audrey more valuable than just a graphic designer.

Just before she graduated, she was lucky enough to get hired by a marketing professional who owned her own business. And by connecting with her, she also connected with a website developer with at least 20 years experience. For the next year, she learned an incredible amount from these two wonderful mentors.
